 European sizing? Nice lightweight shirt Sep 08, 2011

I read other reviews and saw this ran small. I have a camisole from Bella and it too runs small. So I am thinking that the company bases its sizes on European standards rather than American because European sizes are usually one size difference smaller (8 American is 10 European). I usually wear between a large and x-large, depending on the maker. I am comfortable in x-large so I tend to get that size. I ordered 2XX-large in this shirt and was happy. It fits my shape but not tightly.
It is lightweight material, and is a bit form fitting - not loose at all. It is long, which is wonderful for me as I have a really long torso. It comes to the bottom of my hips. I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 just because I rarely rate items with 5 stars.

These tops are a nice thinner knit and the colors were nice, but if the sizing is not correct it doesn't matter how nice they are otherwise. I ordered an XL in red, black, and pink and the size is more like a Medium. Maybe they are sized to that teen size chart. I would not recommend this purchase.

These shirts are made of nice, soft material and are shaped prettily. The colors are as expected. I would purchase them again and may.

Not my favorite purchase. I was hoping for something loose and long, and based on the reviews, I generously ordered XL (I am 5'6", in the upper 120 lbs). It is still snug! And it does not cover my hips, as I was hoping.
