Not the Quality I expected. Aug 12, 2008

I am describing the Fruit of the Loom 5.6 oz cotton T-shirt. I ordered several of them. They are made of the thinnest fabric I have ever observed in a T-shirt. They are definitely not what I would call Heavy cotton. All the shirts I Ordered came from the Texas Shirt company. I see that my description does not agree with most of the other customer opinions, which makes me think that they may have recently changed the quality of the shirt. When I called the Texas shirt company they told me that the words "Heavy Cotton" was just the shirts name, and did not mean that the fabric was a heavy fabric. I am returning all the shirts.

Fruit Of the Loom T-Shirt Multi Colors-For Karate/Yoga/Sport Jul 18, 2004
By Robert L. Brown This is a high quality T-Shirt that you can pick in multiple colors. The great thing about this T-Shirt is it has no Logo or pocket. I use this T-Shirts to practise Self Defence Training, Yoga and hiking. Logos add heat and make a T-Shirt uncomfortable in heat or in a work out. Besides why should I be a bill board for somebody? I take care of the shirts by washing in luke warm/cold water, then hang dry them. When they are almost dry, I throw them in the dryer to "fluff" them up. Just a few minutes (2-4) at most. This will keep them looking new for a long time. For Yoga practise, I choose the colors to match the chakra training of the day. Hey, it pays to be color co-ordinated! The "no pocket" is essential for karate/martial art/sport type training to keep you fingers from hooking on the pocket. Thanks for reading my review.

Well made, affordable. . .you can't go wrong! Jul 15, 2004
By Leonard Snerdley I am very hard on my t-shirts, and therefore, I need the best quality t-shirt on the market. I've tried them all (except Hanes), and have come to the conclusion that nothing beats what Fruit of the Loom is doing with t-shirt design. Durable, strong, and surprisingly flattering to those of us lugging around a spare tire, if you get my drift. It's also pretty amazing that Fruit of the Loom has done so little to change the design of their t-shirt through the years. In fact, I wore a white one under my cutoff vest when I dressed as Happy Days' Chachi for Halloween, and no one even said ONE WORD about my t-shirt being from the wrong era. In fact, I won second prize! Good design, solid craftsmanship, great buy. You can't go wrong.

Great shirts! Nov 05, 2010
By Chasso These shirts and the company are great! I bought these shirts to go under my uniform, but the sleeves were a bit too long so I am going to return these shirts. I am not, however, going to mark them down points for my lapse in length judgement! The shirts fit very nicely and are very comfortable. They come in EVERY color and are so inexpensive you could afford every color. I would highly recommend these for everyday use!

I was looking for a tshirt to wear under my uniform at work. This one does the trick. It is thicker than I expected, but feels soft and sturdy.
